This system allows you to power select circuits during an outage using a portable generator. Typically, you would need to choose 8-10 essential circuits that you want to remain operational during a power outage, such as those for your refrigerator, heating system, and lights. Once these circuits are selected, they will be the only ones powered by the generator. This option tends to be more expensive, than a generator interlock kit install but it ensures that the most critical parts of your home stay functional when you need them most.
